Harry W. Jenkins II, Grand Tyler
Harry W. Jenkins II, was born to (Nancy and Harry Jenkins) in Canton, Illinois. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the Illinois Air National Guard from 1978 to 1979 as a 02 aircraft mechanic. In 1979, Harry moved to Seattle, Washington continuing his service with the Air Force Reserve until 1980 as a C-141 aircraft mechanic.
In July, 1980, Miss Amy Steele became his bride. Together, they raised two daughters who now have families of their own.
When they married in 1980, Harry started his regular Air Force career as a B-52 aircraft mechanic. In 1984, he crossed trained to be a C130 Flight Engineer and was moved to Tacoma, Washington. He flew around the world to 127 countries and 49 states over the next 20 years of his 26 ½ years of military service; and managed to complete his Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development, until his retirement in January of 2005. Harry retired in the grade of E8.
Brother Harry was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Hiram Lodge No. 13 in 2014 and is currently serving as Senior Deacon. He is a York Rite Companion and Sir Knight holding multiple positions in the Albuquerque York Rite Bodies, a Scottish Rite 32° Mason, Knight of St. Andrew, Fellow for the Orient of New Mexico, Chaplain of the Lodge of Research, and participates as a member of York Rite College, Masonic Rosicrucians, Knight Masons, and the Albuquerque Scottish Rite Club. In 2018, Most Worshipful Grand Master Adam Hathaway asked Brother Jenkins to serve as the Grand Tyler for the Grand Lodge of New Mexico for 2018-19.
